Bricasti M21 an uncompromising DAC<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Bricasti<\/a> is a relatively young company that debuted in the professional market with a reverb unit, M7, which has now passed into legend and is still in production. But owners Brian Zolner and Casey Dowdell, both great music and playback enthusiasts, also wanted to explore the consumer market, which they now preside over in a very timely manner. Famous are their DACs, particularly M1<\/a>, and of which this M21 under review<\/a> is the top one in their catalog, for a rather wide range of products from amplifications to network players. M21 is an ingenious and advanced product, containing as many as two different types of DACs that can be hot-switched so that you can find the one that suits your taste, a network player, and finally it can act as a preamplifier, thanks to its analog volume control and particularly robust output sections.<\/p>\n

In Italy the distribution of the brand is entrusted to Stefano Marchi, who opened his own store in Mantova a few months ago and was one of the discoverers of Bricasti. The Bricasti M21 is certainly a challenging DAC from an economic point of view, but we must say that the level of construction and especially the sound output is above suspicion. We could summarize the evidence like this:<\/p>\n
