Giancarlo Valletta
[vc_column_text]Born in Naples in 1966, he has been a journalist in the audio industry for almost 40 years. His passion for music and its reproduction was born with him; at the age of 8 he bought the first issue of Suono, and since then he has cultivated the dream of one day being part of that world.
At the age of 17 he wrote his first news for Stereoplay, which was followed, over time, by collaborations with all the magazines in the sector and beyond, while at the same time he made amplifiers and loudspeakers for personal use.
Today he is a well-rounded journalist, he writes technical content of all kinds, ranging from computer security and piracy to the Gamig sector, he is in charge of Marketing and Communication for a major player in the audio/video sector, he collaborates as a consultant for a number of press agencies, he has written and is writing technical treatises, including ” The White Book of Home Theatre“, which has been published in two editions, and he is also a consultant for an important foundation.
He also contributes to the communication and marketing of companies in the audio and video sector, including JBL, Bowers & Wilkins, Rotel, Martin Logan, Sony, Samsung, LG, Denon, Volumio and many others.
Together with Giulio Salvioni, he has curated the “Listening Lessons” cycle at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome since 2012.
In his spare time, he devotes himself to many of his passions, including motorbikes, DIY, watches, bicycles, planes, to name but a few…
