After ten years in the catalog, Focal has updated the Aria 900 series, first of all changing its name; it will now be called Aria Evo-X.
The Focal Aria Evo-X series includes six new models, a stand-mounted speaker, three floor-standing speakers and a center channel that all share the same magnesium-aluminum inverted-dome tweeter and waveguide typical of the transalpine brand. All Focal Aria Evo-X models (with the exception of the center channel) have a front bass-reflex tuning port, and all midrange and woofers are made with the new “signature flax cone,” using the“Tuned Mass Damper” on the midrange to further reduce distortion.
Curiously, and in a very original way, the products are simply named with numbers (apart from center and effects), and so No.1 stand-mounted is a two-way in which the tweeter is paired with a 16.5-cm Flax Bass mid/woofer. First step among the No.2 tower speakers, which shares, doubling it, the No.1’s 16.5-cm woofer but adds a midrange, also 16.5-cm, with TMX suspension (which is the same as that common to all models). No. 3 adds a third, also 16.5-cm woofer for a floorstanding speaker with five drivers, while No. 4 adopts two 20-cm woofers in a generously sized cabinet.
The center unit, Evo X Center, has dual 16.5-cm mid/woofer and rear bass reflex. The colors available are as follows: glossy black, walnut or the new glossy moss green.

The prices are as follows:
- Aria Evo X No.1: US$2398/pair
- Aria Evo X No.2: $4798/pair
- Aria Evo X No.3: $5198 per pair
- Aria Evo X No.4: US$5998/pair
- Aria Evo X Center: US$999
