The British manufacturer that has become famous for its attractively priced speakers presents new wireless towers with very small dimensions.

Q Acosutics M40 in brief

The Q Acoustics M40 are active, wireless speakers characterized by compact dimensions designed for those looking for a practical, inexpensive speaker that does not forget about reproduction quality. These speakers are just 71 cm tall and come in three different finishes: black, white and walnut. We are basically talking about a larger version of the smaller M20s. If the dimensions are small, the powers involved, on the other hand, are high; in fact, we are talking about a total power output of 200 watts in class D. As for connectivity you can count on Bluetooth 5.0 compatible with aptX HD and aptX Low Latency,(up to 24 bit/48 kHz) through which you can play audio from smartphones, laptops or tablets and the like. Through the USB connection then, you can play files at 24bit/192 kHz. Optical connection, RCA and 3.5mm AUX inputs are also present. From a technical point of view, the Q Acoustics M40s use C3 technology with regard to midwoofers, a technology already seen on the M5000s. Q Acoustics M40s use a decoupled tweeter in addition to the technology Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer (HPE) To reduce standing waves inside the cabinet. The British company has also equipped the M40s with an EQ button through which you can indicate whether the speaker is placed in a corner, against a wall, or free-standing so that the internal DSP can optimize the sound based on placement. Small curiosity, the grids are not removable.
