Audiovector QR SE: new speaker series

The Danish company has announced a new series of speakers that will satisfy both stereo and multichannel enthusiasts.

The Audiovector QR Special Edition includes seven new speaker models: the QR 1 SE stand-mount speakers and then the QR 3 SE, QR 5 SE, QR 7 SE floorstanding models, the QR C SE center speaker, the QR Sub SE subwoofer, and finally the QR Wall SE speaker.

Speakers Audiovector QR SE can count on several improvements such as new purpose-built capacitors in order to achieve a much more transparent high range, metal resistors that provide better heat dissipation, not to mention cryogenically treated internal wiring that should result in greater dynamics and more detail.

Speakers for all budgets and needs

The Audiovector QR SE line-up has solutions for all budgets and needs. Let’s start with the top of the line: the three-way Audiovector QR 7 SE, which is equipped with two 20-cm aluminum composite woofers, a 15-cm aluminum composite midrange, and an AMT tweeter. Immediately below the top of the range are the QR 5 SE floorstanding speakers. Also three-way, with AMT tweeters, 15-cm Pure Piston midrange, two 15-cm Pure Piston bass units, and a Q-port bass reflex system. If you want to spend even less, you may find in the Audiovector QR 3 SE what you are looking for. We are still talking about floorstanding speakers equipped with a 15 cm midrange and a woofer, also 15 cm. As for the stand speakers, the Audiovector QR 1 SE can count on a 15-cm mid/bass driver with Pure Piston technology, AMT tweeter and Q-port system. For the Wall SE model, we find an AMT tweeter and a midwoofer. As for the center channel, the drivers used are: one AMT tweeter and two 15-cm midwoofers. Finally, the Audiovector QR Sub SE subwoofer can rely on bass reflex loading and is equipped with a 25cm aluminum woofer and a passive downfire radiator. The power available is 350 watts.
