Rob Watts is one of the most ingenious and unconventional designers of digital audio. He has signed off on much of the DACs as well as the MSCALER oversampler from England’s CHORD. We interviewed him on the sidelines of Monaco Hi-End 2024, we are only publishing the interview now because we wanted to tie it to the recently released DAVE and MSCALER test. With us was Mario Richard, a talented designer and digital music expert, who helped us interview such a knowledgeable character as Rob Watts.
