Sonus faber Sonetto G2: Redefining sound, inspired by the top

The Sonus faber Sonetto G2 line-up was created with the aim of making the sound performance and elegance of the Vicenza-based brand that has been one of the top players in the industry worldwide for years more accessible.

The Sonetto G2 range consists of seven distinct models: two stand-mounted speakers(Sonetto I and Sonetto II), three floorstanding speakers, a center channel and a wall-mounted speaker. Great with the experience gained from its flagship models such as Suprema, Sonus faber for these Sonetto G2 “drew on” the superior models to scale up a technology that is the result of years of experimentation.

Cork inner chamber: The Sonetto V floorstanding models and the Sonetto VIII, benefit from the new cork inner chamber, a solution taken directly from the top Suprema model. Its shape is designed to lower internal resonances and improve driver output
Camelia midrange: Both the floorstanding and center channel speakers incorporate the new Camelia midrange driver. Also derived from the Suprema model, it is distinguished by its shape. the Camelia midrange features a diaphragm inspired by the shape of the camellia flower, left unpainted to ensure total purity of sound, mounted on the unique organic basket. Thanks to its shape Sonus faber promises to break down the resonances typical of circular membranes and enhances Sonus faber’s signature Natural Sound. The aluminum Phase Plug then enables optimized frequency response and clarity, both on- and off-axis. The Camelia Midrange is featured on Sonetto VIII, Sonetto V, and Sonetto Center.
Acoustic and visual details: The coating of the woofers and mid-woofers features a unique Camellia pattern that combines aesthetics and technology. In fact, it reduces interference and improves sound dispersion. The cones are made with pulp sandwich structures that ensure precise and dynamic bass response. It is combined with the organic basket, which is optimal for airflow. The tweeter, common to the entire range, is Sonus faber’s renowned Silk Dome DAD (Damped Apex Dome).
