The Totem Acoustic Tribe Tower Thunderbirds are born with an important ambition: to ensure optimal performance regardless of where they are going to play. The Thunderbirds carry on the design of the previous Tribe Tower, aiming to offer excellent sound reproduction no matter where they are going to perform. This will be possible first and foremost thanks to the new 6-inch driver with Torrent technology that saw the light of day after a good three years of research. From the first information, this driver features a multilayer voice coil and increased magnet strength, which in spite of its size, promises a low-end response that reaches 28Hz and is capable of going up to 7kHz, but the interesting things do not end there as all this is done without a crossover. There is also a (custom) 1.3-inch graphene dome tweeter, mounted on a 0.25-inch-thick machined aluminum face plate. The cabinet can count on a structure designed to increase rigidity and reduce unwanted resonances. Inside the Totem Acoustic Tribe Tower cabinet is also a damping material designed directly by Totem. Finally, the Totem Acoustic Tribe Tower Thunderbirds can count on good sensitivity and a decidedly easy impedance module that make them interface with a large number of amplifications.
