Clarity Cap, the passion for audio

We used Clarity Cap for the realization of a preamplifier based on Balanced Zen Line Stage, comparing the ESA series with the CSA series, we want with this brief article to talk about the company, which was founded in 1974 and has always been devoted to producing metallized plastic film capacitors dedicated exclusively to audio applications. To do this they use a specialized factory that guarantees complete control of every production stage. Each line is the result of in-depth studies of materials, microphonics, mechanical resonances, electrical stability, ESR, and behavior over time, with the goal of eliminating any element that might degrade the audio signal. A key breakthrough is CopperConnect technology, a proprietary solution that takes action on an often-overlooked aspect: the connection between capacitor electrodes and terminals. Replacing traditional tin-zinc sputter connections with an integrated copper lattice structure, CopperConnect that dramatically reduces crystal discontinuities, signal path resistance and micro-distortions, enabling cleaner, more consistent and natural signal transmission. This technology is now the basis for the CSA, CMR and Purity ranges, which represent the pinnacle of ClarityCap research.
