Volumio Rivo Network Streamer

The computer audio is now an established reality for many music enthusiasts who have chosen it as their main source of listening for years. The general public has also become aware of the difference in quality between a product designed specifically for listening and a general-purpose PC. RIVO is a digital audio player equipped with the Volumio 3 operating system, which, thanks to the Manifest interface, allows easy and intuitive management of music content. As with other Volumio electronics, Rivo has a sleek, anti-magnetic aluminium case designed by Design Narratives. Rivo has a USB port dedicated to the DAC, which is slaved to an internal 24Mhz clock generated by a highly stable quartz. Great care has been taken to filter and isolate the SPDIF and AES/EBU inputs, using 1:1 transformers with OFC copper for galvanic isolation. The power supply is separate for each section and is internally filtered, with particular attention paid to the clock supply (with its own stabilizer). In addition to the USB output for the DAC, there are SPDIF, AES/EBU and HDMI video outputs. On the connectivity side we have WiFi and wired Ethernet, as well as a BT 5.0 receiver. RIVO supports most digital formats and is UPNP compatible. Features range from CD playback/rapping (with a separately connected USB player) to a TuneIn tuner for web radio and UPNP/DLNA, CIFS/SMB and NFS support. Connectivity to Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Airplay is native, while plug-ins are available for YouTube, Squeezelite, Radio Paradise, Podcasts, Pandora, Fusion DSP, Roon Bridge, Soundcloud, Mixcloud and others in development. Finally, we have the ability to manage multi-room systems with other Volumio stations to create an integrated environment in your own space.
