Mission 778X amplifier

Mission 778 was one of six early British compact-sized integrated amplifiers, and it has always been much loved by the public because of its extremely musical performance. Forty years after its debut, this 778X, exactly identical in size, very similar in appearance, but totally updated in content. 45W per channel, Sabre ESS9018 DAC, remote control, BT input, phono, line, optical, coaxial, USB-B, in short a modern equipment, and an aesthetic enhanced by the presence of an array of coaxial LEDs at the volume knob indicating its progression. In short, a product that is not only particularly up-to-date, but can also be connected to a TV, becoming a true multimedia powerhouse. The purchase price, significantly lower (with due proportion) than that of the product of the time, and extremely affordable in absolute terms, candidates it to be an excellent choice in budget or early excellent systems. Pairing it with a modern, not too energy-demanding speaker will make up a sub-€1000 set with few rivals on the market.
