Interview with Gilad Tiefenbrun of Linn

Ivor Tiefenbrun revolutionized, literally, the HiFi market, debuting with LP12, the most iconic British turntable and the best-selling in all its variants and still firmly in the catalog. He, while everyone was thinking about zeros before distortion, claimed in the 1970s with his LP12 that the most important thing was the source: if you did not extract the signal to the best of your ability, what was the point of amplifying it with the lowest possible distortion ? He was right. For acouple of years now he has left the reins of Linn to his son Gilad, who has been able to best ferry the company into the new era of information technology and immaterial music. This interview discusses the features of the new Klimax Solo 500 power amplifiers. An interesting interview between present and past, between memories and current events.

Not to be missed.
